Angel Oak Park is home to the awe-inspiring Angel Oak®—a Southern live oak estimated to be 300–400 years old and considered the largest of its kind east of the Mississippi. Open daily (except holidays), this Lowcountry treasure welcomes visitors to admire its massive canopy and explore the surrounding park grounds free of charge.

Tucked behind a historic brick wall and elegant wrought-iron fence, Wragg Square is a hidden gem in downtown Charleston. Dating back to the early 1800s, this serene park blends quiet charm with deep history—an often-overlooked retreat just steps from the city’s bustle.

West Ashley Park, spanning 300 acres, offers hiking, fishing, paddling, picnic spots, and abundant wildlife, making it perfect for relaxation and family fun.
